Governor issues disaster declaration due to Tropical Storm Imelda

The Governor issued a disaster declaration for thirteen counties experiencing widespread flooding due to Tropical Storm Imelda. The counties included in this declaration are:

Brazoria
Chambers
Galveston
Hardin
Harris
Jasper
Jefferson
Liberty
Matagorda
Montgomery
Newton
Orange
San Jacinto
