Today, August 20, 2026, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) updated its Resilience Analysis and Planning Tool (RAPT) to modernize its functionality and make it more user-friendly, and includes the most current county, census tract, and tribal data; new imported data from the National Weather Service; and preset maps.    The update hass added three new ready-made dashboards:  Disaster Declarations, USA Storm Reports, and Infrastructure Explorer.  FEMA RAPT is a free, publicly available, web-based mapping application, designed to be easy-to-use and users can combine different data layers to see how various factors impact their communities.   It is accessible at www.fema.gov/rapt.

FEMA has established the RAPT Resource Center at https://rapt-fema.hub.arcgis.com/  and will host a series of interactive tutorial webinars on the following dates.  The webinars are free, but pre-registration is required.
