Additional LIHEAP Funds Released

The US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (AFC), Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Energy Assistance (DEA) released additional funding for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for FY 23. In addition to the statutory funding requirements, LIHEAP funds may be used to assist eligible household experiencing and recovering from extreme weather and/or natural disasters. THE OCS Disaster Flexibility Hub tracks and displays data on declared disasters.
