New USDA Community Wildfire Defense Grants Program

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a new five-year $1 billion Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG) program. This competitive grant will help at-risk communities in the wildland urban interface (WUI) meet the three goals of the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy. USDA will host a series of regional webinars in August via the USDA Wildland Fire Learning Portal. You must pre-register to attend a webinar.
