FEMA Radio Direction Finding Resource Typing Engagement Period

The FEMA National Integration Center (NIC) is seeking public feedback on the draft Radio Direction Finding Team resource typing definition. This Team is responsible for conducting electronic direction-finding operations in support of search and rescue operations. The typing will include only Type 1 or Type 2 teams, updated the capabilities for the Team to better reflect the latest operational time of a team, increased the number of communications operations for team members, added capability to work parallel with trained medical personnel, and added upcoming GPS technology for future capability.
