FEMA releases 48 updated Core Capability Development Sheets

5 Apr 2021 1:09 PM | Diane Weidenkopf (Administrator)

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) released 48 updated Core Capability Development Sheets. These updated versions include revised suggested training for each core capability.

The sheets provide state, local, tribal, and territorial jurisdictions with suggestions for how to improve their core capabilities and close capability gaps identified through the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA), the Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR), or other capability analysis.

The FEMA Core Capability Development Sheets can be found at FEMA.gov. The set of Core Capability icons are also available for jurisdictions to use.
