The Annual Leadership Symposium was held on March 4-7, 2018 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Marcos, Texas. This year’s meeting was one of the largest ones yet with over 150 registrants, 32 speakers and 11 exhibitors. The presentations were well received and the first Inaugural Leadership Track was a new addition this year. Topics included Deconstructing Millennial Myths, Building Private Partnerships, The Price is Right? – How Your Tax Base is Affected by Disaster, What Leaders Are Made Of and the Real Story of Hurricane Harvey.
