State Hurricane Conference
The fifth annual Texas Hurricane Conference will take place in Galveston May 8 - 10, 2007 at the San Luis Conference Center. Sponsored by the Governor's Division of Emergency Management, the Texas Hurricane Conference is the capstone of hurricane drills and preparedness activities taking place in coastal and inland counties this spring. GDEM officials remind us that the single greatest natural threat to Texas is a catastrophic hurricane. For more information, visit the DEM website.
